X-Wing Fighters
During his flight from Tatooine to Dagobah,
Luke Skywalker has an X-wing with "Red Five"
markings, just like in the Battle of Yavin.
Density
Consider how the fighter sinks into the swamps of Dagobah.
It must have a mean density comparable to water.
As water gradually seeps into the void spaces,
the fighter loses its bouyancy
and sinks below the surface.
