This appendix lists game statistics for the star destroyer subclasses seen in the movies.

RPG Statistics [WEG]

Below are performance statistics for two sub-classes of ISD, according to various references for STAR WARS: The Roleplaying Game. Performance statistics for other classes and sub-classes (eg. the anonymous destroyer #5) have never been printed officially.

On neither of these ships does either the number of turbolasers or heavy turbolasers exactly match the number of massive turret-mounted turbolasers seen in film: eg. 64 per ship for the second sub-class. If this disagreement can be rationalised, it probably must involve the ad hoc limitation of the number of guns capable of firing simultaneously to the fifty or sixty stated in these statistics.

There are similar problems with the conventional statistics for the number of guns in each fire arc (which are not transcribed below). The published numbers suggest that only up to a third of the guns can fire on targets in most directions; the real geometry of the dagger-like hull means that in most directions half or more of the guns should have a clear line-of-sight.
