STAR WARS
Printing Advice

Some readers have said that they have difficulty printing STAR WARS Technical Commentaries web pages because of limitations of web browsers and the white-on-black text. This is a response to the problem. As far as I know, any web browser can be configured to print the pages at this site correctly.

Browser Settings:

According to Michael Wong: in Netscape on some home computers, you go to "file: page setup" in the menus, and turn on the setting "black text". This makes white text print black. There is also an option there for printing backgrounds; this should be turned off. When both of these settings are correct, the web pages should always print as neat black text on a perfect white background. The printing of images is unaffected.

There should be a similar procedure on other web browsers, but I have not done enough experimentation to find the method.
