StarSlasher
one model of BlasTech blaster carbine, the StarSlasher was produced during the Old Republic and was still in use during the early years of the New Republic.

Stasheff, Raan
this stern, handsome man served as one of Sayer Mon Neela's personal guards during the height of the Galactic Civil War. Raan was the latest in a long line of security and espionage experts: his grandfather had served with the Corellian Security Force, and his father had been an Alliance agent during the era of the Battle of Yavin. He hoped that his own actions would live up to his forefathers' lofty standards. Raan's dedication to Madame Neela was tested when they were captured by Captain Sergus Lanox and held aboard the Imperial Hazard. During their escape, Raan threw himself in front of a blaster shot meant for Madame Neela, and nearly died in her arms. Madame Neela dragged him aboard the Starcrossed and got him to the Alliance base on Carosi XII, where he eventually recovered from his injuries.

Throat Slasher
this Yuuzhan Vong warship was under the command of Tsaa Qalu, during the alien race's invasion of the galaxy. Tsaa Qalu was given command of the ship by the Viith Yalu and the Shapers who were stationed on Wayland, in order for him to capture the crew of the No Luck Required before they could discover the Yuuzhan Vong plans to destroy all production of bacta. The Yuuzhan Vong managed to ensure Bey Gandan made it to Thyferra, primarily by capturing the Dug Leaft and holding him aboard the ship. Leaft, however, struggled to find a way to destroy the Yuuzhan Vong. When Leaft had decided that the Yuuzhan Vong were not going to let him live, he fought back against Tsaa Qalu and his crew. The Dug stole a coralskipper and used the cognition hood in the craft to force the Throat Slasher to crash into Thyferra. Tsaa Qalu and his entire crew were killed in the explosion.

Tok Ashel
this Neimoidian was placed in command of the Cartao Expeditionary Army, shortly after the onset of the Clone Wars. Working with Dif Gehad, he worked to take control of Cartao and subdue the leaders of the Spaarti Creations manufacturing facilities. His primary mission was to secure the fluid technology of the Cranscoc in order to retool it for use in manufacturing D-90 battle droids. In order to secure the cooperation of Pilester Binalie, Tok Ashel tried to hold Binalie's son, Corf, as a hostage. To ensure the boy's survival, Jedi Master Jafer Torles also agreed to act as a hostage.
