this Twi'lek male was the son of wealthy merchants who had traveled to the planet Naboo shortly before the Trade Federation blockaded the planet. Deel himself was something of a scoundrel, albeit a well-educated one, and once performed at the Royal Hutt Hotel. He later attended the Royal House of Learning in Theed, as a way to further his own education while away from Ryloth. When the Federation invaded the planet, Deel joined many of his classmates in joining the Naboo Underground and fighting against the Federation's forces to free Naboo. After the advent of the New Order, Deel became something of a celebrity, appearing in a series of holovids. However, a major spice scandal ruined his career, and Deel retreated to the criminal underworld, becoming something of a kingpin in the spice trade during the height of the Galactic Civil War.
