Sussimi
this large, transparent-bodied crustacean was native to the planet Calamari. The average specimen measured a half-meter in length, and caught its prey with a pair of nasty, hooked claws. The transparent shell allowed the sussimi to sneak up on its prey, and the only time a sussimi could be seen was just after it had eaten, when its stomach was visible beneath the shell. The shell was formed from natural elements that were similar in many respects to transparisteel, and was valued by artisans and collectors. When startled or attacked, a sussimi expelled a cloud of clear, burning acid as it fled.
