DBY-827
this huge, turret-mounted turbolaser was developed during the Clone Wars as the primary weapon of the Venator-class Star Destroyer. Eight of these dual-cannon weapons protected the Venator-class vessel, with two rows of four being mounted at the base of the command tower. Each DBY-827 could be calibrated to one of seven different blast intensities, depending on the mission profile of the vessel. Long-range tracking computers allowed the DBY-827 to be extremely accurate across distances up to ten light-minutes. Each of these weapons required a dedicated crew to operate, given their size and targetting requirements.
