this was the used by the Kaleesh to describe their conflict with the neighboring Huks, several years before the onset of the Clone Wars. The Huk Wars were the final escalation of hostilities between the Kaleesh and the Huks, who had been enemies for many generations. Utlimately, the Kaleesh were the stronger of the two species, and might have conquered the Huks if the Huks hadn't appealed to the Old Republic for assistance. The Huks played like the victims in the conflict, portraying the Kaleesh and marauders who wanted to take control of the resource-rich Huk worlds. In the end, the Jedi Knights who were dispatched to mediate the situation ruled in favor of the Huks. The Kaleesh were punished by the Old Republic and their society foundered, while the Huks were free to rebuild their civilization and reap the benefits of their new connection to the Republic.
