this unusual weapon was originally designed as a basic cutting tool. However, after Uda-Khalid had a pair of fire blades attached to his forearms, fire blades found another use. The blade of the tool was energized to assist in the cutting process. It was believed that the fire blade was originally created on Dathomir, by lizard keepers who used it to cut and cauterize the paws of domesticated Kwi.
