this group of economic investors tried to obtain control of the spaceports on the moon Pinett, during the height of the Galactic Civil War. Opposing the Jon-Tow Economic Development Group was the Corsignis Property Alliance. Unlike the Corsignis group, Jon-Tow as made up of smugglers and other criminals from the systems surrounding Pinett, hoping to maintain local control of the ports at Oscum and Beliarr. Both parties decided that the only way to force the other to accede was to blockade Pinett, so starships from both groups patrolled the space around Pinett, hoping to shoot down each other's transports. Unfortunately, this embargo and its decisions began to splinter the members of Jon-Tow, showing a weakness that Deniv Corsignis himself hoped to exploit. Before their organization could self-destruct, though, the Pinett Freedom Force provided a way for the two groups of resolve their differences and come to an agreement on how to manage the development of Pinett's spaceports.
