this Chiss female was part of the squadron which was assembled to support Jagged Fel's fact-finding mission to the New Republic, shortly before the Battle of Coruscant. When Jagged decided that the best way to gather information was to assist the Republic in their struggle against the Yuuzhan Vong, Jocell and her fellow pilots agreed to stay. Jocell agreed to join the Twin Suns Squadron, serving under Jaina Solo as Twin Suns Nine. After Coruscant fell and the Republic's forces regrouped on Calamari, Jocell agreed to accompany Jaina and her parents on a mission to re-establish communications to parts of the galaxy which had been cut off. Jaina was glad to have Jocell's help, but felt that Jocell was too stiff to be an effective pilot. When the trio was sent to N'zoth to investigate the Fia's claim that the Yevetha were no longer a threat, they found that the planet and the entire Yevethan civlization had been destroyed by the Yuuzhan Vong. They also found the last surviving Yevethan warrior on a small moon, waiting for the alien invaders to return. This Yevetha refused to be rescued, and set his ship to self-destruct. Jocell was just behind Miza when the shpi exploded, and Jocell's clawcraft badly damaged. With Jaina's help, she was able to return to Galantos and recover from her injuries.
