Order to Reveal
this Old Republic law, when invoked, required a Senator to reveal all information requested by an investigation. The order to reveal was created to prevent a Senator from hiding information which was necessary to the resolution of a crime, especially when the crime directly involved the Senator or his staff. The need to enforce an order to reveal was required to be severe, and an ocean of paperwork had to be completed, submitted, and approved before the order could be implemented. There was only one known loophole to the order to reveal petition, which involved a Senator invoking their sitting right of refusal. While the right of refusal was legally binding, it did place the Senator in a compromising light.
