this Vor served as the New Republic Senator from Vortex, during the height of the Yuuzhan Vong invasion of the galaxy. Lando Calrissian and Talon Karrde approached Senator Boras on Calamari, with an offer of twenty-five tons of relief supplies in exchange for his purchase of YVH-1 combat droids. They recorded the entire conversation for evidence, and later threatened to reveal Boras' acceptance of the bribe if he didn’t support Cal Omas' candidacy for Chief of State.
