Far Thunder
this Republic-class cruiser was part of the New Republic Navy task force assigned to Keyan Farlander, during the destruction of Komm Karsh's fleet near Obroa-skai. In the fighting, the Far Thunder took heavy damage to her hyperdrives. Captain Hannser argued to have the Far Thunder repaired, and General Farlander eventually assented. It limped away with an escort, and was scheduled for repair when the Yuuzhan Vong discovered its location. The crew was evacuated to the Whip Hand, which then fired on the Far Thunder and destroyed it, leaving nothing for the Yuuzhan Vong to recover.
