this Duro served aboard the No Luck Required during the early stages of the Yuuzhan Vong invasion of the galaxy. As a member of the Search and rescue Corp, Vook served as the ship's chief engineer, ensuring that the engines and hyperdrive were in good working order. When Klin-Fa Gi proposed a reckless plan to rescue Bey Gandan from the Yuuzhan Vong slavers, Vook was the only member of the crew to agree with the mission. His opinion was not based on support of the Jedi, but on his own desire to free sentient beings from the torture of the Yuuzhan Vong.
