Shawken
this planet's dense catacombs were littered with traps, set by the ancient Shawkenese to deter graverobbing and pillaging. It was on Shawken that Luke Skywalker and Plif were invited to attend a meeting with the planet's leaders, shortly after the Battle of Endor, to discuss Shawken's position on the new galactic government. Up until this time, Shawken had been under Imperial control. Santor, the planetary leader, explained that the Imperials simply packed up and left when they learned of Emperor Palpatine's death, and Shawken simply forgot about them. A number of excavations were left open when the Imperial left, however, providing unusual scavenging opportunities.
