Harlison, Jardra
this woman was the daughter of Chop and Sharda Harlison. After Sharda's death, Jardra was raied by her father, who hoped to keep her out of the swoop gangs. Jardra later became the lead singer for the band known as Hyperspaze and the Jump Lanes. She was kidnapped by Dean Lado, who hoped to ransom her for the Star Slinger swoop. Lado challenged Quayce to a swoop race, with the winner obtaining control of the Rabid Mynocks. Quayce managed to defeat Lado in a race which saw Lado try every dirty trick in the book to kill her. In the end, Lado was killed when Quayce tossed a magnetic grenade at his swoop racer. Jardra was returned to Chop, and the Mynocks remained under Quayce's command.
