this species of giant, carnivorous, arachnid creature inhabited the Shadow Forest, the lower tree levels of Kashyyyk's dense forests. Known to the Wookiees as the wyyyschokk, webweavers constructed huge nets to capture unwary animals for food. Despite their size, webweavers were exceptionally fast and agile, and were generally considered stronger than most Wookiees. The webweaver used a potent poison, which it could spit from its fangs, to immobilize its prey.
