Stun Steps
this starship security system used the natural electrical conduction properties of steps and ramps to generate an electromagnetic, neuro-shock field. When installed on a starship entry system, stun steps neutralize a being who is trying to steal the starship. Stun steps were installed with remote-activation systems, keeping them separated from the basic starship security systems and ensuring that they remain live even if other security measures were bypassed.
