Sljee
this low, slab-shaped alien race was native to the planet Sljee. Their bodies were surrounded with a number of prehensile tentacles, and olfactory antennae projected from its upper surface. These aliens used their antennae to smell out other lifeforms, since they had no true eyes. As a race, the Sljee had trouble interacting with to the multitude of alien lifeforms in the galaxy, and humans particularly confounded their sense of smell. Sljee moved about on a collection of short, stumpy legs. Most other races were unfamiliar with the Sljee, and often mistook them for some bizarre form of alien creature.
