this viscous fluid was used in desert climates, where temperatures plummeted during the evening. The shisha oil was heated during the day by the burning suns of the planet, and then pumped through pipes which were built into the walls of a desert dwelling. The heat from the shisha oil was transferred to the building material in the wall, heating it up and radiating heat into the dwelling.
