a protracted internal battle between the Dimoks and the Ripoblus, the Sepan Civil War first broke out some five years before the Clone Wars. Despite the efforts of the Jedi Knights Empatajayos Brand, Bultar Swan, and Chellemi Chuovvick, the two sides were unable to make any sort of lasting peace. The civil war dragged on for many years, throughout most of the era of the New Order. Following the Imperial victory at Hoth, the Empire began expanding its control over these sorts of warring systems. The Empire intervened in the civil war, with the Dimoks opposing them while the Ripoblus tended to wlecome their presence. However, growing Imperial domination forced both sides to drop their gripes with the other and band together against the Empire. Both sides were defeated, and the civil war was ended.
