born J'ywz'gnk Kchhllbrxcstk Et'nrmdndlcvtbrx, this Yuzzum was a thief as well as the male lead singer for the Max Rebo Band. The name "Joh Yowza" was given to him by Sy Snootles when he was asked to join the band, in an effort to make him recognizeable to most humans. Joh had been ostracized from his herd on Endor because he was considered too small to hunt. He stood nearly half a meter shorter than the average Yuzzum, and was often left behind on rugger hunts. On one of his solitary treks, Joh managed to stow away on a ship owned by Roark Garnet, who discovered the Yuzzum and nicknamed him "Furball." It was Garnet who taught Joh how to speak Basic. While on a stopover on Nar Shaddaa, Joh heard the music of the Max Rebo Band at Uncle Chesko's. He broke into song in the audience, and so astounded the band that they hired him on the spot. When the band traveled to Tatooine to play for Jabba the Hutt, they were forced to hide Joh because Jabba hated Yuzzum. However, Joh's incredible singing voice convinced the crimelord that not all Yuzzum are bad. After Jabba's death, Joh fled to Mos Eisley and signed on as a singer on a small passenger liner.
