this Neimoidian once served as Nute Gunray's deputy viceroy, shortly before the Battle of Naboo. Monchar was placed in charge of the Federation's own plans to capture the lommite mines of the planet Dorvalla, but was unable to gain access to the mines of either Lommite Limited or InterGalactic Ores. He fled the relative safety of the Saak'ak shortly before the blockade of Naboo, hoping to make his own fortune by selling the information about the blockade - and the fact that it was being perpetrated by Darth Sidious - to the highest bidder on Coruscant. Hath tried to sell the information to the Black Sun vigo Darnada, while trying to avoid being caught, but Sidious dispatched Darth Maul to locate and eliminate Monchar. Simultaneously, Rune Haako retained the services of Mawhi Lihnn in an effort to locate Mochar before the Sith could. Monchar nearly succeeded in selling the information to Lorn Pavan, but Maul was able to reach him first. The Sith lord interrogated Monchar before beheading him.
