Star Wars Rebels' Disney XD Premiere Sets A Network Record

Fresh off its record-breaking premiere on Disney Channel, Star Wars Rebels set yet another record when its first regular episode, "Droids in Distress," aired on Disney XD on Monday, October 13, 2014. According to TheWrap, the episode had 1.03 million viewers, making it "the top animated series debut in Disney XD history."
Rebels also set records for viewers in the coveted kids 6-14, boys 6-14, and kids 6-11 demographics. Disney XD, which launched in 2009, is targeted at preteens, so these are strong numbers in key viewership categories.
