Lucasfilm Gets New Head Of Production & Development, Has Several TV Projects In The Pipeline

Variety reports that Tony To has joined Lucasfilm as Head of Production and Development overseeing all live-action and animated projects. The site adds that Lucasfilm has "several TV projects in various stages of development" in addition to its new movies, which is really exciting to hear.

To, who reports directly to Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, formerly served as executive vice president of production at Walt Disney Studios for three years. In a statement, he said, "It is an honor to be a part of such an accomplished and talented team while continuing to work with my esteemed Disney friends and colleagues."
