Jon Favreau To Direct In Season 2 Of The Mandalorian

Jon Favreau is looking forward to directing some episodes of The Mandalorian as he and his team ramp up for season 2. Entertainment Weekly recently spoke with the creator of The Mandalorian and here's what he had to say

“We’re working on season 2, writing, prepping with the directors and getting ready to direct myself, actually,” said the Iron Man and Jungle Book director. “I didn’t get a chance the last time around because I was doing Lion King. So I’ll step in for one of them.”

While season 1 has yet to air and episode, they are already planning season 2 with which is a good sign. The Mandalorian is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on November 12, 2019. Season 1 consists of eight episodes, each 60 minutes long. The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Nick Nolte, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Carl Weathers, Bill Burr, Omid Abtahi, and Werner Herzog.
