For many of us, the opportunity to combine our passions with our day job rarely comes along, but our own D. Martin Myatt, the man behind many of the entries in the Rebelscum Photo Archive, was able to do just that for his role as doll unit technical director on Robert Zemeckis' Welcome to Marwen, that opens this weekend.
Myatt who has worked in the film industry for over two decades on films such as DEADPOOL, Star Trek: Beyond, A Night At The Museum and many more classics, is also Rebelscum.com's lead photographer. Having years of experience in posing action figures, be they 3.75-inch, 6-inch, or 12-inch, he was the perfect choice to setup the shots during shooting, recreating many of Mark Hogancamp's dioramas that inspired the movie. Not only that, but he also got to hang out with no less than Captain Phasma herself, Gwendoline Christie! If you like a movie with heart, then be sure to check out Welcome to Marwen in theatres now!
Congrats Dave, we're looking forward to this one!
