Free, Limited-Run Star Wars Reads Day Patches Now Available For Volunteers

Posted by Eric on September 26, 2013 at 02:10 PM CST

We've just been informed that the team behind Star Wars Reads Day (October 5, 2013) is offering a limited-run of 1,000 free patches to the volunteers, R2 Builders, and other individuals who staff Reads Day events around the world (yes, international volunteers can get them too!).

If you're volunteering at a Reads Day event, you can sign up for a patch here after the event. Reads Day organizers are asking that each volunteer only order one patch.

Shipments of patches will go out in mid-to-late October and patch orders will be checked against volunteer records. According to organizers, "the Star Wars Reads Team is also making a large book donation on behalf of all the volunteers who help make Star Wars Reads Day awesome."

Click on the image above to see the patch and get ready for a celebration of all things Star Wars literature next Saturday, October 5, 2013!
