EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – Dec. 18, 2015 – Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. announced today that its popular mobile game, Star Wars™: FORCE COLLECTION (SWFC) will undergo a major update today to include new content inspired by Star Wars™: The Force Awakens™, including new promotions and card packs.
Celebrating the release of the highly anticipated film, the update will introduce a variety of exclusive cards including Rey, Kylo Ren and BB-8, among others. As a special bonus, Konami is also giving an exclusive 5-star card of BB-8 to all players who log in (limited time only).

Updated home screen design Renewed chat system Special Awakened card frames for Star Wars: The Force Awakens cards A new tier that allows players to upgrade certain Star Wars: The Force Awakens cards beyond the Evolve tier. Players can do this once specific conditions are met, including possessing two Evolve max cards, and a minimum number of Holocrons, which can be obtained in events and map quests.
Additionally, Konami will host an online event where players can vote for their favorite Star Wars™ characters from both the dark and light sides of the Force™. The winning characters will become the game’s newest 5-star cards. Players who voted for the winner of each side will be rewarded with a gold card pack ticket. Additional gold card pack tickets will be awarded to those who vote for the most popular character overall. As an added incentive, the more players vote, the more in-game rewards they will receive.
SWFC is a card battle game that takes place in the Star Wars universe. Players take command of more than 400 heroes, villains and vehicles, including Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker. Create your own deck of formidable battle formations and face off against rivals throughout the world in real-time Legion battles.
