Check Out These Leaked Trailers For A Wii Rogue Squadron Game
At one point, Factor 5 was working on a Star Wars: Rogue Squadron video game for the Wii, and although it was ultimately canceled, elements of the game are now seeing the light of day.
IGN has posted two trailers for the game, which Factor 5 president Julian Eggebrecht discussed in a recent interview with the site.
"The Wii game was a compilation that featured modified versions of Star Wars Rogue Squadron: Rogue Leader and Star Wars Rogue Squadron: Rebel Strike along with additional content," IGN says.
It would have included "multiple control schemes" like the Wii Wheel (for X-wings) and the Balance Board (for speeder bikes).
One of the trailers shows an overview of the gaming experience, while the other shows off the lightsaber dueling mini-game "using 1:1 control via Nintendo's Wii Motion Plus peripheral."
