Was Star Wars: Episode VIII Footage Shown At License Expo In Vegas?

It all started when Steven Weintraub from Collider.com sent out the following two tweets today.

Spoken to people that saw Star Wars Episode 8 footage at License Expo in Vegas. Wondering if it's same footage they show at Celebration.

Forgot to mention along with Episode 8 footage select people yesterday got to see a lot of Rogue One footage. They said it looked great.

Steven has a pretty good track record, and has been at this for some time. It's nice to see that "They said it looked great" part in regards to Rogue One after all of the re-shoot hub-bub a few weeks ago.

The big question here is, will anything for Star Wars: Episode VIII be shown at Celebration Europe 2016? My guess is they give attendees a small glimpse similar to the sneak peek of Rogue One at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim.

With Rogue One being released later this year it is safe to assume fans at Celebration Europe 2016 will be treated to some great content in regards to the first Star Wars spin-off. Hopefully LFL will be releasing any trailers shown at the show the same time online to thwart fanboys with cellphones who record during the panel.

Less than a month to go until Star Wars Celebration Europe 2016! Fingers crossed we get some new footage!
