John Morton Appearing At Louisiana Comic Shop

Posted by Chris on June 19, 2013 at 03:58 PM CST

BSI Comics in Metairie, LA has announced that actor John Morton will be visiting very soon:

Sci-Fi Actor Appearances along with BayouCon are bringing Star Wars actor John Morton to New Orleans for a signing at BSI Comics on Friday, June 28th! John will be a guest at BayouCon in Lake Charles that weekend, but he is flying into New Orleans and will be signing for 3 hours on Friday afternoon (noon - 3 p.m.) before heading to the convention.

John played Rebel gunner Dak Ralter, Luke Skywalker's snowspeeder co-pilot in the Battle of Hoth, in The Empire Strikes Back. John also suited up as Boba Fett (when Jeremy Bulloch had left the set for another film for a couple of days) and ended up in one of the main Bespin scenes. John was also featured in Superman II and Flash Gordon.

If you are in the New Orleans area and you are a Star Wars fan, this is your chance to meet one of the actors who was in what many consider to be the greatest Star Wars film in the series.
