Disney Retail Employee Says Episode VII Will Be Released In 'Late 2015'

A retail marketing director for The Walt Disney Company has spoken up about the company's plans to release Episode VII toward the end of 2015. Dennis Barbie tweeted today that Disney is planning for Star Wars Episode VII to hit theaters in "late 2015."

Barbie soon followed up on this tweet by cautioning that there "[m]ight be some changes there" and that "in the entertainment business you will never know." Indeed, The Hollywood Reporter posted a story last Thursday alleging corporate infighting over the release date between Disney executives and the creative team at Lucasfilm.
