Chronicle Director Josh Trank Will Direct A Stand-Alone Star Wars Film

Lucasfilm today dropped yet another piece of news about its cinematic plans: Josh Trank, who directed Chronicle and is currently directing The Fantastic Four, will direct a Star Wars spinoff movie.
"The magic of the Star Wars Universe defined my entire childhood," Trank said in the statement posted on StarWars.com. "The opportunity to expand on that experience for future generations is the most incredible dream of all time."
No further details were announced about Trank's film.
