Carrie Fisher Reportedly Heading To London For Six Months For Episode VII

Posted by Eric on March 7, 2014 at 07:03 PM CST

Jim Jefferies, the star of the FXX show Legit, has heard from Carrie Fisher that she will be in London for six months filming her part in Star Wars Episode VII, according to Slashfilm (via Club Jade). Jefferies revealed this to a satellite radio program while promoting his show, in which Fisher will soon make a guest appearance. Here's the quote:

She said to me, she goes ĎIím going off to London for six months to film the new Star Wars movie,í right? And I donít think from looking at it, the new Star Wars movie is a direct continuation. Itís number 7 but itís not going to be the next day, Iíll tell you that much. Maybe she had the same problem the Emperor had, I donít know.
Carrie Fisher certainly hasn't been shy about commenting on Episode VII. Check out the Slashfilm article for links to her many confirmations of her role.
