Lucasfilm's second annual Course of the Force charity relay began earlier this week in San Francisco. The seven day (July 9-16) event, a partnership between Lucasfilm, Nerdist Industries, Machinima, and Octagon, will raise money for the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Celebrities Chris Colfer and Alexis Denisof launched the event on Tuesday, and legions of tweets, videos, and photos followed. In this post, we'll round up the best resources to follow the action.

The official Course of the Force Twitter account is a great place to start. They're retweeting content and posting lots of their own tweets to help those outside of the Bay Area stay connected to the fun. You can also follow the action through the official Facebook page.

You can keep track of the different stages of the event through the official schedule. Today, for example, you'll see that "The Course of the Force Lightsaber will be transported to Pacific Palisades [in Los Angeles] courtesy of Virgin America Airlines."

Ashley Eckstein recapped Day 1 for The Official Star Wars Blog, and the blog also has a recap of Day 2.

Denisof, who helped kick off the event, blogged about it here.

You can watch a highlight reel from Day 1:

And a highlight reel from Day 2:

And then there's this hilarious video of Billy Dee Williams and Patton Oswalt singing in a recreation of the Mos Eisley Cantina (because why not?):

Ashley Eckstein also shared several pictures from the relay on her Instagram account.

Kyle Newman was in attendance for the kick-off and tweeted up a storm. We've embedded a few of his Instagram videos below.
