Robinson Film Center Will Be Screening Fan Film The Force Within Us

Our buddy Cris Macht sends word that his fan film / documentary will be screening in Shreveport, Louisiana on May the 4th! Details below.

SHREVEPORT, LOUISIANA – Robinson Film Center will celebrate the fandom of the Star Wars franchise with a screening of The Force Within Us at 6 p.m. May 4.

The film, written and directed by Cris Macht, looks at emotional journeys and personal connections developed within the Star Wars fandom.

Before the film, fans will enjoy a movie-themed dinner complete with Light Speed Trivia. Fans are invited to compete for prizes in a costume contest.

Local movie fans will discuss how they were drawn to the fandom, and the audience will dive deeper into the community.

Tickets are $30 ($25 for RFC members), which includes the dinner and movie ticket. The event is presented by Maccentric, a locally owned Apple Authorized Premium Service Provider.
