"Universo Star Wars" Exhibition

"Star Wars invades El Corte Inglés in Avenida Francia.

* A place with more than 2000 pieces on 300 m2.
* The exhibition includes a set of miniatures from micromachines, Kenner/Hasbro, trading and merchandising elements and prototypes ever produced.

Valencia, May 30th, 2009: From today until next July 5th, the third floor of El Corte Inglés Avenida de Francia will host an exhibition with more than 2.000 Star Wars pieces, wich going to be the frenzy of fans and non fans.

In a space near 300 m2 will be shown a great set of Micromachines, unique in Europe.

Also exposed numerous Kenner / Hasbro 3-inch figures, merchandising elements from worldwide, plus replicas of armors like appeared in the saga and restored helmets from year 77 and 80.

All the pieces belong to Luismi Alonso, actor by profession, who began his collection with just 2 years, after seeing "Star Wars".

Also participating in the show with him: Ruben Raspeño, creator of exact replicas of armors and other elements of the saga for use himself in some parades and events, and Alex Dosaula, member of the R2D2 Builder's club, the most famous robot in the saga.

This is another activity in occasion of the 5th Anniversary of El Corte Inglés in Avenida Francia, in Valencia, Spain.

This show is the beginning of a tour for some other cities in Spain.

This event is supported by Biplano (Company with licensing rights in Spain) and Lucasfilm and by various associations of Star Wars in Spain (Barnasquad, Star Wars Madrid, Saga Skywalker Valencia, Rebel Legion Spain, Star Wars Leon Fan Club), who will visit in the near future in one way or another.
