This just in from The Phoenix Fan Force:

We're now only about 4 weeks away from our annual Toy Drive and Sidewalk Sale. It will be held on December 16th. If you have not attended this event in the past, you must check it out, and this year is going to be even better! We will have the 501st Dune Sea Garrison on hand in their awesome Star Wars costumes which may include Stormtroopers, Sandtroopers, Clone Troopers, Boba Fett, and Lord Vader himself may actually make an appearance. As I understand, we may be visited by the Master Chief from HALO as well. Joining the 501st will be the Phoenix Fan Force also in various costumes including more Star Wars characters (likely some Jedi), CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow will be making an appearance (keep an eye on your valuables mateys) along with other surprises. Kids and adults alike will have a great time visiting and taking pictures with everyone.

UPDATE: As many may know, the pesky Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future are starting to make their rounds to all the Scrooges out there. To help keep us safe from their mischief, a few members of the Phoenix Chapter Ghostbusters will be on hand. They will be happy to take photographs with kids and kids at heart as they keep there eyes out for Marley's Ghost and his crony's.

In addition, as mentioned, this is a Toy Drive. We will be accepting Toy donations for the 501st, which will be given to children at the Phoenix Children's Hospital as well as other children in need over the holidays and beyond. Toys are especially needed for younger boys and girls as well as teens. All toys should be new and in their original packages (if applicable), but not gift wrapped. Anyone who donates a toy will be given a storewide SALE sheet for in store purchases of up to 50% off. Even if you don't plan to purchase anything, any donations will be appreciated.
