The Sunday Post Interviews Samuel L Jackson Posted By Britany on October 27, 2002
The Sunday Post's "Honest Truth" section features an interview with Samuel L Jackson. Here's an excerpt:
Are you constantly aware of your hard man image? I guess it shocks them sometimes to see me in places like the grocery store or in a book shop. I’m aware of it and hopefully when they encounter me in person, and go back and tell their friends they’ve seen me, they’ll say, "He IS cool" but because I took the time to say, "Hey, how ya doing? It’s nice to meet you too".
You have a series of ads on British TV at the moment. Why did you do them? Because they’re very good little films, actually. It was cool to work with the director, Jonathan Glazer, because he’d done work I thought was interesting. Reading them, I was intrigued and they told me the concept was a guy on an odyssey, wandering through different terrains. But they didn’t tell me how cold the rain was going to be when we made it!
