As we slide into a non-Celebration V-filled weekend, the official site of Star Wars: The Old Republic provides us with a couple of updates.

First up, SWTOR.com gives us more details on TOR starships through a holonet update:

"Whether you’re looking to dominate the galaxy in the name of the Empire or rescue it from darkness as part of the Republic, you won’t get very far without a starship. In Star Wars™: The Old Republic™, your starship will be your base of operations, and it might even be your best friend. Ship models are specially designed to match the needs and tastes of each of the class types, so even though all the starships are outfitted for traveling the galaxy, each has its own character.

Secondly, Fan Fridays make their return and the latest edition includes the following:

- Community Creations: Encourages you to participate in the Community Forum to possibly have your work spotlighted in a future edition of Fan Fridays.

- Fan Art: Community members Wraloa Craubo, Kiuas, and Kromnz provide some fantastic art for your visual enjoyment.

- Fan Video: Community member Tukor has creaded a fun TOR remix using media from SWTOR.com

- Roleplay: Some TOR community members have created a roleplaying thread for The Battle of Ord Mantell.

- Developer Corner: Not sure that there's an update for this one in this Fan Friday edition.

- Advanced Classes: Check out an up to date list of names and specializations for each available class.

- Concept Art: Very cool new concept art image

- Events: Currently at Gamescom and then headed to PAX

- Avatars: New Jedi Knight Class and Timeline addition avatars have been added

- Polls: Keep checking back as new polls are added regularly
