PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island, October 18, 2002 –The Feinstein IMAX Theatre Providence Place announced today that "STAR WARS®: Episode II Attack of the Clones, The IMAX® Experience" will be coming this holiday season, beginning Friday, November 1.

"STAR WARS: Episode II Attack of the Clones, The IMAX Experience" marks the first time IMAX has re-mastered a movie that was digitally captured and created using IMAX® DMR* (Digital Re-mastering) technology. Given its tremendous appeal, grand design, spectacular images and sound, "STAR WARS: Episode II Attack of the Clones – The IMAX Experience" will provide moviegoers with the ultimate movie experience and Star Wars fans an opportunity to experience all their favorite characters and worlds in an entirely new way. The newest Star Wars saga has been transformed – literally – into a "you are there" experience. Imagine staring down a 40-foot-tall Yoda and dodging eight-stories-tall lightsabers!!!

"IMAX's new DMR technology takes this film to a whole new level," said Glen Motta, Feinstein IMAX theatre director. "Fans of the Star Wars sagas will be blown away by the immensity -- and intensity – of the sound and imagery virtually immersing them in the movie. This is a whole new way to experience the Star Wars universe!"
