Betty tells us that the Herald Sun talked to some Star Wars actors about their Australian accents in Episode II. Here's a clip:
Other Australians in the "family" include Jack Thompson as Owen's father, Home and Away's Matt Doran, Anthony Phelan, Bonnie Piesse, Marton Csokas, Ronald Falk and Susie Porter as a waitress.
Lead Natalie Portman's coterie is almost all Australian, with Trisha Noble playing her mother, Graeme Blundell her father, Claudia Karvan her sister and Rose Byrne her handmaiden.
Edgerton said he's thankful his character is a conventional one in the special-effects film.
"I was wearing a few hessian clothes but it was my head up there attached with a little bit of stubble that was home grown," he said.
"I didn't have to wear a fake chin or a blue nose or anything like that, and I got to speak English.
"So as far as being in the film, however much I'm left in the final cut, thankfully you'll be able to tell it's me."
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
