Here is what the book says on page 174: "This year (2007) is the 10th anniversary of the Star Wars 501st Legion (USA), the world's largest Star Wars costuming group. What was a stormtrooper fan club in 1997 now is 3,300 strong. According to the handbook, members "celebrate the Star Wars movies by wearing costumes and most importantly contribute to the community through charity and volunteer work."
