TIME Top Ten Star Wars Fan Films

Check out this TIME magazine YouTube clip asking fans to respond with their top ten all time Star Wars fan films. Everyone needs to participate ( why not?! ). Be sure to include the God Father of Star Wars fan films, TROOPS, by Kevin Rubio (Clone Wars, Dark Horse). At the time this came out it was mind blowing and set the stage for what was soon to follow. We originally hosted TROOPS here at TheForce.net over ten years ago, and I can recall leaving my computer on for days, downloading the file with my wicked fast 28.8 modem. All for ten minutes of cool new Star Wars action. It still is mind blowing, a great story when you think about it.

Also, please consider The ForceCast's own George Lucas Hip Hop Awards, is also a great top ten contender, mixing animation, comedy, and hip hop. Plus it was winner of both the 2008 Star Wars Fan Movie Challenge 'Best Animated Feature' and 'Audience Choice' Award!
