Xbox Live and Playstation Network subscribers can look forward to a demo level of The Force Unleashed in August. According to the video interview belowfrom E3, it will be the Tie Fighter Construction Facility level with some enhanced Force powers.

UPDATE: TalkPlaystation.com reports that according to an episode of X-Play on G4TV, the TFU demo will be coming to both the Playstation Store and and the Xbox Live Marketplace on Thursday, August 14th.



UPDATE #2: LucasArts says that the demo won't be hitting this Thursday. No word yet on an exact official date but we're still anticipating August.

There are over 12 million people on Xbox LIVE, so it is a big deal to be at the top of the “Top Ten” list. It’s even bigger (and much more rare) for a demo to make the list. That is why this is so huge: this week, the demo for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed holds the #4 spot for Xbox 360 games!

TFU beat out popular games like Gears of War, Madden, Guitar Hero, Rock Band, and more. The three games above it have been in the top three for the last few months, so they are extremely hard to surpass. Still, this is big! We’ll have to see how the actual games does in three weeks…
