Stocky chimes in with a news bit rating A New Hope as Australia's favorite film. From TheAge.com:
Star Wars is number one. Steven Spielberg is the man. And Australia's best-loved home-grown movie is Chopper. That's the verdict from Empire magazine, which set out to find the country's favourite films, collecting more than 63,000 votes from readers and movie-goers around the country. Between November 1 last year and January 2 this year, people could vote via the magazine, Video Ezy outlets, the magazine's website and the Yahoo! Movies website.
...But Star Wars was in front, by a long way, although Return of the Jedi and The Phantom Menace don't make the cut. Mr Murray said the generation now aged 25-35 "didn't have a film they could call their own" until Star Wars came along.

Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
