HOLLYWOOD, California (Reuters) -- A hit from the 1999 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, "Star Wars Trilogy in 30 Minutes" will make its U.S. premiere at the Coronet Theatre in West Hollywood on October 25. The play, which is sanctioned by "Star Wars" creator George Lucas, runs through November 23.
Before the Edinburgh Festival, "30 Minutes" was developed and presented in 1996 for John Edward Blankenchip's Festival Theater USC-USA. Gorman's other written works include an adaptation of "Reservoir Dogs," also performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
The play was performed at Celebration II and had a successful 4 week run at the Scenedock Theatre on the USC Campus in Los Angeles on August 16th, a fundraiser for the Festival Theatre USC-USA program. Thanks to Fuuufuu, Also, Ciro & Darknupe for the alerts.
