Star Wars Omnibus: Early Victories

Fans have started posting this bit of news (eddie on the Dark Horse SW forum and Manisphere on the TFN Literature forum) that a new collection is announced on Amazon.com. Star Wars Omnibus: Early Victories is announced for an October 1st release and will reprint some long-forgotten stories:

Two strips from Star Wars Galaxy Magazine that were collected by Dark Horse as one-shots, Tales from Mos Eisley and Shadow Stalker.

The amazing 4-issue adaptation of the Alan Dean Foster novel Splinter of the Mind's Eye (most recently published as Volume 8 of the Star Wars 30th Anniversary Collection).

The 4-issue Vader's Quest series that ties-in to one of the Marvel issues (#29 to be exact).

The never-before-collected 4-issue series River of Chaos detailing one of Leia's missions (after Empire #22).
